Job Summary:
The Training Manager will identify need, design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with company brand for all employees including orientation, job specific training and leadership development.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and execute training programs.
- Collaborates with department heads to identify training needs and goals.
- Review existing training programs; suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the company, or the industry.
- Ensures training materials and programs are current, accurate, compliant, and effective.
- Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
- Identify challenges and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
- Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.
- Maintain training records and provide regular reports on outcomes and activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design.
- Proficient in learning technology to enhance training delivery.
- Strong emotional intelligence with excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to moderate large groups.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and or related software.
- Two to four years’ experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Education, Communication, HR, Psychology, HR/LMS technologies, Learning and Development or related fields. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
- Bilingual English/Spanish, a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds from time to time.
- Travel to company locations required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $96,500.00 per year
