The Academic Partnerships Liaison will play a crucial role in building and maintaining CIAT relationships with corporate partners, military bases, community colleges, and community organizations. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategies to build relationships with corporate partners, military bases, community colleges, and community organizations to increase CIAT brand awareness and support student recruitment efforts
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly partnership outreach targets (phone calls, emails, appointments, and referrals) to effectively build and manage your partnership pipeline
- Utilize multiple communication channels (phone, email, text, LinkedIn) to connect with prospective partners
- Uses professional knowledge and perspective to build rapport, overcome obstacles, and guide prospective partners through a formal CIAT partner onboarding process
- Meet or exceed term enrollment goals sourced directly from partnership-building efforts
- Conduct effective Admissions interviews to discover the education and career objectives of prospective students referred by CIAT partners. Provide timely and accurate advising on all aspects of the enrollment process, including admissions requirements, program requirements, financial options, the applicability of previous college credit, and CIAT resources
- Identify and connect with key stakeholders at corporations with education assistance employee benefits to support corporate recruitment efforts
- Identify and connect with key stakeholders at military base education and transition centers to support active duty and transitioning veteran recruitment efforts
- Collaborate closely with CIAT Marketing Department to collaborate on advertising and promotion opportunities at military bases, events, or corporate sponsored events
- Collaborate closely with CIAT Compliance Department to support articulation agreements or other college partnerships
- Collaborate closely with CIAT Career Services Department to connect hiring opportunities for active students and alumni
- Participate in virtual and in-person presentations, speaking engagements, and event opportunities to represent CIAT
- Develops and implements a plan for generating referrals from current and prospective students and personal and professional networks
- Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities such as open houses, regional presentations, training, orientation programs, college fairs, career days, etc.
- Travel to on-site locations to facilitate partnership-building efforts
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in Admissions, sales, or business development positions
- Minimum 2 years of experience using enterprise CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics
- An in-depth understanding of the technology industry including education and career requirements, technology vendors, certification, and/or credentials requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple and rapidly changing priorities to meet the needs and expectations of employees
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; dedicated to quality, quantity, and timeliness of results
- Able to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality
- Possess high ethical standards, being an example of professionalism to others
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment
- Excellent analytical skills, problem resolution skills, and general business acumen
- Proficient skills in MS Office software products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project, and ability to learn additional software products
- Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
- Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours to accommodate business needs and deadlines
- Reliable transportation to go on campus, attend seminars/trainings, if required
- Expect at least 25% of travel

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required. Travel to military bases, high schools, speaking engagements, conferences, or CIAT-sponsored events may be required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

- Ability to type, use a computer to search for information, and input information while speaking on the phone is required
- Requires daily use of a personal computer and related software applications at a workstation
- Requires completion of some tasks that require reaching, grasping, and making repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties
- Requires prolonged sitting and or standing at a workstation for 8+ hours per day
- Requires dependability and excellent attendance records
- Requires travel to conduct CIAT business, as needed
- The employee will be required to compute simple to simple mathematical calculations as a normal part of this role

While performing the responsibilities of this remote position, the job holder will work in a home office environment.
