Summary Statement:
The Security Officer will take pride in serving as a brand ambassador. This role may patrol, stand a static post, respond to potential emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances, or requests for assistance. This role will ensure the safety and experience of guests, team members and vendors while providing a world-renowned customer service.
Job Duties:
Primary Job Duties: – Includes, but is not limited to:

Understand the importance of service in a world class resort while maintaining the awareness of safety & security.

Follow company brand standards for Guest Service.

Act as a first responder during emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances or requests for assistance.
- Drive/operate company vehicles as required.
-
Perform basic first aid, CPR or AED application.
-
Successfully complete an annual physical agility test.
-
Maintain a working knowledge of the facility and special events on property, and other venues in order to advise guests and fellow employees of same, whenever possible.

Assist with drops and fills on the casino floor.
- Interact with guests and team members in a positive, professional manner.
-
Gather pertinent information regarding security related incidents involving guests, employees and/or the facility.
- Prepare and present voluntary statements and incident reports.
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.

Use personal device/cellular phone for job related tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: – Includes, but is not limited to:

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
-
At least six months' customer service experience.
-
Ability to successfully complete a physical agility test pre-hire and post-hire (annually).

Ability to successfully pass the internal security officer training academy training.
-
Ability to successfully pass repulse spray training.
-
Ability to successfully pass baton training.
-
Ability to successfully attend and pass all recurring mandatory legal, defensive tactics, handcuffing techniques, first aid, and CPR/AED.

Ability to participate in all evacuations procedures to aid guests and employees during an emergency.
-
Ability to operate assigned equipment.
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Polished appearance and demeanor.
-
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

At least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
-
Experience 1-3 years in field or equivalent.
-
Previous Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience.
-
Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/ General Education Diploma.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States (provided I-9 Documentation).
