We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow and succeed.
Position Overview: As the Assistant Manager at Wydaho Bakery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bakery. You will work closely with the Bakery Manager/Owner to oversee daily operations, assist in managing staff, and ensure that our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Early Morning Baker: Demonstrate reliable and consistent baking skills, ensuring that all products are prepared to the highest standards and available fresh each morning.
- Scheduling: Assist in creating and managing employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation of the bakery.
- Inventory Management: Help monitor and manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure that all necessary supplies and ingredients are available and fresh.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer inquiries and concerns, and ensure a positive experience for all bakery visitors.
- Team Leadership: Support and motivate bakery staff, assist in training new employees, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and product quality in all areas of the bakery.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with various administrative tasks, including record-keeping, reporting, and other duties as assigned by the Bakery Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is required.
- Proven baking skills, with the ability to work early morning shifts reliably.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with staff scheduling and inventory management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
