Job Description
Responsibilities:

Manage solid dosage processing lab including equipment maintenance and operation. Maintain inventory of materials and commodities and ensure proper organization of laboratories to facilitate efficient execution of experiments

Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and troubleshoot laboratory equipment problems.

Optimize laboratory operations for efficient use of time and resources.

Design and execute lab and commercial scale (scale-up and scale-down) experiments for oral drug product and manufacturing processes.

Maintain a high level of productivity in the lab and/or pilot plant and cGMP manufacturing facilities.

Provide technical expertise for marketed products and processes. Investigates troubleshooting of product failures and recommends remediation direction.

Support for new oral dosage product transfer from R&D to global manufacturing plants/TPMs as well as marketed products. Responsible for oral dosage product and process development, improvement, and optimization.

Author//co-authors/reviews internal reports, regulatory submissions, and presentations. Present scientific concepts and results to cross functional stakeholders.

Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, and GxP compliance.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education typically 10 years of experience, Master’s Degree or equivalent education and typically 8 years of experience, PhD and no experience necessary.

Ideal candidate will have a strong background in solid oral dosage form manufacturing with extensive experience operating and maintaining lab scale equipment.

Experienced technology transfer, process scaling, and providing on-site support for clinical/commercial manufacturing.

Strong technical background and communication (written and verbal) skills. Highly motivated.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
