Position Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the GME Manager, the coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the residency/ fellowship program(s), which may include multiple subspecialties. Assists with the daily operations and logistics for the program(s) ensuring orderly and timely workflow. Ensures complete and accurate documentation and record retention of the residents/fellows. The Program Coordinator additionally will interact with faculty, residents, fellow(s), medical students and institutional and regulatory administrative offices as directed by the GME Program Manager.
Job Description:
EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED required.

Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
-
1 year of administrative relevant experience required.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferably in Graduate Medical Education or in some field of education, i.e. teacher/educator) preferred
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
-
Organizational skills with particular ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests.

Proven project and/or program management skills.

Interpersonal and communication skills .

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.

Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), EPIC, and related information systems.

Pay Range is $35.08 to $50.87 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
