RN/LVN NEEDED for HOME HEALTHCARE VISITS
Star Home Health Inc. is seeking experienced Home Health LVN/RNs . We are a midsize and growing Home Health Care company looking for caring, motivated Nurses.
Must Have:
- Current CPR
- Must currently be licensed in the State of Texas (or hold a compact license)
- Experience – Solid Home Health Care Visit experience. At least 1 Yr. clinical experience.
- Solid Oasis documentation understanding & experience
- Current Texas Drivers License, Current Car Insurance, Reliable Transportation
- Internet Access with Computer Skills- Experience with Kinnser or other home health software a plus
- Excellent Communication Skills. *Bilingual is a plus
As a Homecare Nurse, you will be delivering the highest quality patient care according to the specific orders of each patient’s individual physician. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Patient Assessments
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies
- Care planning
- Communication with other members of the patients’ multi-disciplinary team
- Supply management
- Emergency management
- Coordination of care
- Health promotion and teaching
- Training of family members
Specific qualifications for these roles include:
- Associate’ s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a state accredited LVN/RN program
- Current and unrestricted LVN/RN license to practice in this state
- Current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Current Continuing Education if required by state
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to walk, lift, stand, bend, kneel, see, hear and speak clearly.
