The Position Proposition:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Mesquite, Texas location. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing receiving, warehousing, laydown yard, and distribution operations. The manager will be required to assist with receiving/ distributing/ maintaining/ organizing all materials in the warehouse. Must have experience with pallet jacks. Must care for tools, and equipment, and assist in facilities maintenance as needed.
- Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system, computers, tablets.
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Capable to operate standard Warehouse equipment
Education & Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- Knowledge of manual labor work in construction.
- Previous experience working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License – preferably a CDL.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for tracking inventory in Excel format.
