Christian Living Services/Holland Home has a rare opportunity for a Human Resources professional to take their career to the next level as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our amazing Human Resources Director performing HR-related duties on a professional level.

What Will You Do?
We are expanding this role to that of an HRBP to assist management and staff with a variety of human resources-related questions, concerns, and issues as well as to supervise our Staffing Resources team of nurses and nurse aides who fill in our staffing needs throughout the organization.
Responsibilities include:

Develop, implement, review, and update policies and procedures, handbooks, etc

Functions as the HR consultant in handling routine employee relations issues & corrective actions

Assists in HR leadership training with every new manager

Manage unemployment claims, coordinate documentation for contested claims

Assists in the planning of employee events

Supervise, orient, train, evaluates employee performance and handles employee relations issues for Staffing Resources team

Ability to attend, set-up, organize events/meetings/etc outside of normal business hours when needed.

Demonstrated initiative and enthusiasm for serving our staff, managers, residents, and outside vendors.
Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree required in business, human resources, or related field
-
3 years experience in human resources required. SHRM or PHR certification preferred
-
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication/customer service skills

Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
High degree of analytical ability, organizational skills and ability to multi-task
-
Experience working with HRIS software; UKG knowledge/experience strongly preferred.
