STLCitywide is a rapidly growing property management company located in the Central West End. We manage over 2200 apartments including luxury buildings and are looking to bolster our maintenance staff with a few more employees. We are looking for a dedicated and trained HVAC technician to join our team. You would be required to service and troubleshoot all systems in our portfolio as well as repair the systems.
Job Summary:
As an HVAC/Installer at STLCitywide, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. You will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient operation of heating and cooling equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes
- Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently
- Troubleshoot and repair boilers, refrigeration equipment, and other HVAC components
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings for system installations
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to optimize system performance
- Provide field service for HVAC system issues
- Weld and fabricate components as needed for installations or repairs
- Assist in the design of HVAC systems when required
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in equipment repair and installation
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
- Experience in field service for HVAC systems is preferred
- Proficient in welding techniques for HVAC applications
