GENERAL FUNCTION
The primary function of this position is to provide excellent member services and provide leadership and guidance to Member Services Rep. I and II employees.
KNOW HOW
- A high school diploma, or its equivalent, is preferred, basic member service skills and minimum 3-4 years customer service experience is required.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Computer proficiency using standard word processing and data entry skills.
- Ability to learn, process and use YMCA software programs.
- Math and calculator proficiency.
- Know and understand how to use the telephone system and voice mail.
- Filing and basic office procedures.
- Must be capable of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with staff, parents, program participants, and with the general public.
- Must be able to work as a team member and possess the core values that meet the YMCA mission.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information on children, family and YMCA staff.
- Maintain current certifications in First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation, and other department/Branch designated training, or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment.
