Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Manager oversees and leads the maintenance department which maintains the physical structures, physical services, machinery, equipment, and grounds. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing our plant multi-functional teams to identify best practices and improvements that will increase our reliability, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the day-to-day directions to the Lead Maintenance Mechanics, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Stockroom Associate, and MRO Lead for assigned department activities according to prescribed schedules priorities, facility flow, and processing specifications to ensure facility efficiencies are met.
- Provide leadership, coaching to maintenance team towards implementation of standard ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and technical mastery of maintenance; Visual controls & tools Mgmt., Lubrication mgmt. & Calibration of equipment(s) etc.
- Lead and be accountable for the Building Maintenance program, Facilities maintenance program capabilities, including maintenance repairs & overall operations are in place. Drive company safety culture and is willing to take responsibility for self and others by setting an example for others to follow.
- Motivate team members to accomplish efficient operations of the shift and departmental goals focusing on continuous improvements.
- Understand personal strengths and weaknesses; lead by example; promote change through listening skills and seeking frequent input from employees; is genuine and approachable; leads a culture of performance, accountability and motivation for team members that includes consistent coaching, written performance evaluations, and corrective action as needed.
- Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities to deliver the company objectives, and goals.
- Drive actions through data to reduce plant goals for downtime, efficiency, and waste.
- Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in completing work tasks, cooperative attitude and being reliable and responsible.
- Schedules workdays, days off, and vacations, and ensures payroll hours are complete and accurate.
Qualifications Requirements:
- 5+ years minimum of supervisory experience with increasing responsibilities.
- 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills;
- Electrical and controls experience a must. Limited Maintenance Electrical License able to take on an apprentice highly desirable.
- Food Manufacturing and Bakery experience is highly desirable.
- Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standards.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building.
- Solid working knowledge of electrical and mechanical processes related manufacturing
- A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.

Wage: 100,000 DOE
