Pay if based on experience. **Overview** We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our medical team in a dynamic and patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blood sampling and specimen collection and processing, as well as the ability to work effectively in a clinical laboratory setting. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing various laboratory procedures, including drawing blood from patients and processing specimens, while maintaining a focus on patient care and service. **Responsibilities** - Collect and process blood and other bodily fluids for laboratory testing, adhering to strict quality control measures. - Perform venipuncture and other blood sampling techniques as necessary. - Process specimens according to established laboratory procedures and protocols. - Conduct vital signs measurements and document patient information. - Provide patient care and service, including answering questions and addressing patient concerns. - Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and adhering to infection control guidelines. - Work closely with medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results. - Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care and laboratory testing. **Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Completion of a phlebotomy training program or equivalent experience. - Certification as a Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) is preferred. - Familiarity with hospital laboratory procedures and protocols. - Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with a focus on patient care and service. - Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory techniques. - Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. - Physical ability to perform venipuncture and other blood sampling techniques.
