We are a Confidential Dealer located in the Brooklyn Area and we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Manager to join our winning team! As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory control, shipping and receiving, and order management system of our dealership parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Manage inventory control processes and ensure accurate stock levels
- Oversee the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate pricing and maintain strong relationships
- Fabricate parts as needed to meet customer demands
- Collaborate with the auto body repair department to ensure timely availability of parts
- Utilize order management system to track orders, process returns, and manage customer inquiries
- Train and supervise parts department staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a parts management role within an automotive dealership or related industry
- Strong knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and their applications
- Proficient in inventory control systems and order management software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to negotiate pricing with vendors to ensure competitive rates
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
