The Director of Business Development is responsible for the sales planning, implementation, and monitoring of the marketing plan for the facility. Represents the facility to the community, interested persons, and potential referral sources within the identified market service areas. Directs the efforts of the Business Development Representatives and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the facility. Extensive travel required and Irregular/long hours may be required occasionally.
Education:
Bachelor’s Level Degree in Marketing or related business field preferred or equivalent work experience in related field.
Experience:
Five (5) years in Marketing/Sales, preferably in the Medical/Psychiatric field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word. Excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and set priorities. Ability to develop creative marketing ideas. Some travel required.
Physical Requirements:
Irregular and long hours may be required occasionally. Exposure to patients and progress conditions. Extensive travel required. Lifting and loading twenty (20) pound boxes containing brochures and/or literature and fifty (50) pound display boards, etc.
