Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Director of Fundraising to join our client. Our client is a non-profit with a wonderful mission statement. Role will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organization's mission and goals.
Duties:
- Develop and execute fundraising campaigns to raise funds for the organization.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors.
- Utilize software and databases to manage donor information and track fundraising progress.
- Conduct market research to identify new fundraising opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team to create strategic fundraising plans.
- Write grant proposals and manage grant applications.
- Maintain donor relationships through effective communication and stewardship.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and sponsors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fundraising, relationship management, or a related field.
- Strong research skills to identify potential donors and funding opportunities.
- Knowledge of fundraising software such as Raiser's Edge is preferred.
- Excellent public relations skills to represent the organization positively.
- Ability to engage in strategic planning for fundraising initiatives.
- Demonstrated grant writing experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining donor relationships.
