Position Overview
This position is essential to the operations of the business. As a Compliance Specialist, you will support daily operations through a variety of different channels, including our compliance services, general business administration, and ad-hoc projects to continue the growth and development of the business. You will learn new things, solve problems and help people.

Core Responsibilities
- Compliance tasks, such as:
- registering Commercial Vehicles (think semis, trailers, and other large trucks) including IRP / Apportioned / Prorated Plates
- applying for Motor Carrier Authority (FMCSA, USDOT, and MC and DOT Numbers) and filing government updates on behalf of our clients
- opening and filling Fuel & Mileage Tax accounts (IFTA)
- Vehicle Titling
- Office/administrative tasks, such as:
- Customer communications
- Small administrative projects
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a small business office setting:
- Small collaborative team experience
- Small business general administration experience
- Computer skills
- Detail oriented work experience
- Ability to reach, stand, walk and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Knowledge of the transportation industry is a plus, though not necessary
- Trucking industry experience
- Freight Brokerage/customer service
- A college degree is helpful but not required
