This is a 40 hour per week position. EOE
Work hours are somewhere between 7 am and 5:30 pm dependent on the position and patient needs.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the clinical and surgical functions of the practice by handling clerical and patient prescription tasks as well support triage and clinical RN needs. Functions autonomously and within a team framework to assist in coordination of patient care services across the continuum of care. Serves as a resource to patient care issues including prescription management. Assists the management team with quality assurance activities and achieving a high level of clinical quality, patient experience, and regulatory compliance.
Education & Experience:

One to two (1-2) years of experience in ophthalmology preferred.

Pharmacy Technician Ophthalmic Scribe certification preferred

Experience in prescription refill/prior authorization process preferred.
Essential Skills and Abilities:

Knowledgeable of ophthalmic practices and medications.
