New Graduates are welcomed to apply! We are seeking an X-ray Technician to join our medical team. If you are just starting your X-ray career or have experience then we want you to apply. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray and other modalities to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions
Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic radiography examinations at the providers request
- Operating X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images in a safe manner
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures and answering any questions they may have.
- Following protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in patients chart
- Schedule patients for further testing as instructed by provider
- Clean Xray equipment regularly , notify supervisor of any signs of wear or malfunction
- Maintain current knowledge and skills of radiology practices and keep certifications current
Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnostic radiology techniques
- Familiarity with nuclear medicine procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in urgent care settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedure
Education:
- Associates Degree in applied science and completion of an accredited radiology program is required
- A valid ARRT license and State of Delaware License
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 Years old
- Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug and alcohol screening and background check
- Must be willing to work rotating weekends
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Ability to speak, hear and have clear vision
- Ability to assist in moving patients of all builds
- Ability to walk and/or stand for 10 hours a day
- Ability to use hands without limitation

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
