Mount Angel Towers is seeking a full-time coordinator/manager for our restaurant-style Dining Room at our Senior Living Community. The Dining Room Coordinator will play a critical role as they interact with residents, guests, and employees as the leader of the Dining Room Team.

Unlike other restaurant roles, our dining room closes at 6:30 PM, so our work hours might be better than a restaurant setting. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a quality customer-service experience for our residents and guests.
- Organize the Dining Room servers so they provide a restaurant-style dining experience for our residents.
- Assign servers to work shifts so that meals and special events are sufficiently staffed.
- Ensure the Dining Room is ready for the next meal service (clean, tables set properly, etc.).
- Help serve and bus tables when needed.
- Ensure dining room supplies are stocked correctly and orders from suppliers are timely and accurate (experience with US Foods is preferred).
- Assist in hiring and training all wait staff to our service standards.
- Manage the Dining Room Server Team (experience with Paycom is preferred).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures (track Food Handler’s Permits).
- Collaborate with managers and convey a warm, can-do teamwork attitude.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- At least 4-years of previous experience as a server or 1-year experience as dining room manager is preferred.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft applications-Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work weekends and special events when needed (ideal schedule is either Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday from 10 AM-6:30 PM).
- Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and OLCC.
- Must pass the Oregon Division of Human Services Criminal Background Check and pre-employment drug screen.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
