Job Overview
Front Desk-Patient Coordinator, wanted! We are a private practice with one dentist. Our patients and team are like family. Open Monday-Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 8-4.
Govani Dental is looking for a motivated professional team member to join our family! We are a progressive general dental office utilizing Dentrix software. We are paperless and digital for all front desk duties.
Candidates must possess strong communication skills, have emotional intelligence, high ethics, be willing to learn dental software Dentrix, be confident with scheduling patients, billing and insurance.
We are looking for a team player with excellent time management skills who wants a great place to work and grow!
An ideal candidate would have at least 1 year experience in a dental or medical office, with past experience with Dentrix (preferred) and confident computer skills. We will train the right individual who possess high ethics, an ability to grow and is highly motivated.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with scheduling appointments
Answer phones and be able to multitask
Prepare billing statements and enter insurance payments
Perform proper chart documentation
Educate patients on their dental needs and go over treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems such as Dentrix
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Dentrix is preferred
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
