The Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating and updating vector graphics for our technical reports and will also be responsible for creating the PDF reports.
Essential functions
- Generate geological and reservoir-engineering vector illustrations
- Modify and improve published technical illustrations for use in proprietary reports
- Optimize the appearance of report text, tables and illustrations withing technical reports
- Liaise with geologists, reservoir engineers and others
- Collaborate with C&C graphics team in our Reading office
- Provide graphics and design inputs to C&C marketing/corporate imaging
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Professional training certificate is preferred.
- Knowledge of computer graphics software, particularly Adobe InDesign & Illustrator, Photoshop
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent drafting skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Work to deadlines and to a high standard
