Job Summary:
We are an electrical testing & maintenance firm looking for a Warehouse & Materials Manager for our corporate office location. This position will include Tool Inventory & Maintenance Management, procurement of materials including purchase orders, managing shipping & receiving, administrative management of vehicle fleet, and other warehouse systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Track, audit and report inventory; tools, equipment, and materials.
- Procure and purchase of parts and materials for stock, non-stock, and consumables. This may consist of searching for and locating items, issuing, and processing Purchase Orders, and establishing working relationships with our vendors.
- Manage warehouse practices and protocols to achieve efficient warehouse operation.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure materials are available in a timely manner as job needs dictate.
- Collaborate in setting warehouse and team goals to achieve efficiency.
- Assist in managing other warehouse associates, monitoring work, and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Administrative monitoring of Vehicle Fleet and maintenance.
- Apply LEAN and 5S to Warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work.
- Proficient with computers and knowledge of general software and applications.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of safety rules.
