Position Summary
As the International Sales Rep, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in international markets by leveraging your technical expertise. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to promote our products/services, build relationships with prospective clients, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results-oriented, and has a proven track record of success in international sales.
Key responsibilities include:
· Assist customers with their requirements for synchronization products throughout the sales process by suggesting solutions, and assisting with tailored configurations.
· Develop a thorough grasp of technical elements related to our products to proficiently convey product specifications, tackle technical questions, and tailor solutions to facilitate quoting processes.
· Identify and prioritize target markets and key accounts for sales prospecting and lead generation.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular communication and meetings.
· Develop expertise in synchronization requirements, Masterclock products, and competing solutions.
· Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to customize sales strategies and solutions to meet client needs.
· Acquire proficiency with all Masterclock's product offerings and excel in utilizing the quotation system.
· Track and report on sales performance metrics, revenue forecasts, and sales targets.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
· Familiarity with broadcast-specific standards and network timing technology.
· Proven track record of success in international sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
· Strong understanding of international business practices, cultural nuances, and regulatory requirements.
· Ability to travel Internationally three to five times per year, as operational needs dictate.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
· Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
