The Order Filler at Virtual Medical Billing Solutions is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to our clients. This role ensures that all orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently, contributing to our goal of providing excellent service and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Selection:
Accurately pick products from shelves or bins according to order slips or digital instructions.
Ensure that the correct items and quantities are selected for each order.
Packaging:
Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during shipping.
Use appropriate packing materials and methods to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
Labeling:
Label packages clearly and accurately with shipping information, including addresses and tracking numbers.
Ensure all labels comply with shipping regulations and company policies.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock situations to the supervisor.
Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining organized storage areas.
Quality Control:
Inspect products for defects, damage, or incorrect quantities before packing.
Verify the accuracy of orders before shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Shipping Preparation:
Prepare and organize orders for shipment, including weighing, sealing, and applying postage or shipping labels.
Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange for timely pickup and delivery of packages.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all order fulfillment activities.
Report any issues or discrepancies in order processing to the supervisor promptly.
Safety and Maintenance:
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Keep work areas clean and organized, performing routine maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in order fulfillment, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse equipment is a plus.
Skills:
Basic math skills for counting and inventory management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
