Office Manager
Job Summary:
Greater Houston Sports Club is currently seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and diligent Office Manager. Greater Houston Sports Club is a private membership facility similar to a golf country club in the South Houston/Missouri City area. The work schedule for this full-time position is Wednesday to Sunday, requiring 36-45 hours per week, including weekends. Since our venue hosts numerous events, candidates must be open to flexible hours and varied responsibilities.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Overseeing the front desk in daily tasks such as opening and closing duties, cleaning, answering phones, interacting with members, and check-in.
- Scheduling front desk staff and changing schedules to best accommodate the needs of the club.
- Scheduling additional staff when the need arises.
- Coordinating with the kitchen to ensure all supply needs are met, and service is running smoothly.
- Overseeing the bar with scheduling, organization, and ensuring proper service.
- Communication with multiple departments ensures that membership is fully informed about various venue changes, event information, and general club information.
- Communicating with the inventory and accounting department for supply, beverage, and apparel orders.
- Communicate with vendors about things such as apparel, alcohol, miscellaneous beverages, and cigars.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with staff, vendors, and clients.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
