Door Attendant
Duties (not limited to):
- Welcome each guest to the hotel and provide exemplary service to each guest they encounter.
- Provide luggage assistance for all guests without prompts and escort arriving guests to the front desk.
- Escort guests to their rooms and provide hotel/room/restaurant orientation in accordance with service standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: hotel features and services, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count, room availability, scheduled in-house group activities, locations and times, and VIP guests.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
- Engage in polite, professional, personalized conversations with guests.
- Discreetly ascertain each guest’s name and once learned, greet each guest by name.
- Resolve all guest complaints in a timely manner and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work area(s).
- Work closely with all departments to ensure all service standards are met and guest service expectations are exceeded.
- Perform additional duties as instructed by the Director of Rooms, the Front Desk/Operations Supervisor and Restaurant General Manager.
- Comply with hotel safety and security policies.
- Navigates each shift fluidly and freely performs duties outside of assigned classification.
- Perform reasonable off-property guest errands.
- Provides a crafted stay for each guest.
- Ensure discretion for our guests.
Requiremets:
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be customer-service centric and have excellent hospitality skills.
- Carry out multiple tasks.
- Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry 75lbs
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time during course of shift
- Ability to learn, utilize and communicate effectively via company issued communication devices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
