Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner
Woodland Wellness Primary Care is a provider owned Rural Health Clinic (RHC) located in Manchester, TN. We are excited to announce the opening of our second RHC in Tullahoma, TN. Our anticipated start date is May 2024. We are seeking Full and Part-time Nurse Practitioner candidates to serve our growing needs. We offer a unique opportunity for providers to work independently and grow your own Primary Care Practice. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and maintains flexibility in completing tasks in an ever-changing workplace. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, work well with others, be self-motivated and need little direction from supervisors.
*Job Summary: * The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for meeting, assessing, and diagnosing patients in our clinic. The Nurse Practitioner assumes responsibility and accountability for health promotion and maintenance, including but not limited to the use and prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. They will be responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier life. This is a position of trust.
*Key Responsibilities: * 1. Obtaining and recording a detailed medical history of each patient including, but not limited to, the patient’s chief complaint, his/her present condition, the patient’s individual history, and his/her family history. 2. Performing complete physical examinations of each patient reasonably necessary to evaluate various primary care conditions and identify the need for any referrals. 3. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations to assess the condition of the patient, including diagnosing his/her injury or illness and formulating a prognosis. 4. Effectively communicating with patients and other health care staff to manage patient care. 5. Referring the patient to other physicians, including specialists and other health care providers, when and if needed. 6. Responsible for prescribing medication or treatment plans for the patient’s condition. 7. Perform such clinical procedures as are consistent with Physician’s training. 8. Keep and maintain appropriate records relating to all professional services rendered. 9. Use electronic medical records systems.10. Prepare and attend to all reports, claims, and correspondence necessary and appropriate to the performance of the professional services and ensuring that records and documentation are in compliance with Federal and State regulations. 11. Demonstrates integrity, care and compassion when working with patients, families, and staff. 12. Adheres to the standards and policies of the Organizational Privacy/Security and Compliance Programs, including the duty to comply with applicable laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, OIG guidelines, other State and Federal laws). 13. Maintains privacy of all patients, employee and volunteer information and access such information only on a need-to-know basis for business purposes. 14. Complies with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations. Reports unethical, fraudulent or unlawful behavior or activity. 15. Maintains confidentiality of the organization by ensuring that information is accessible only to those authorized to have access and is protected throughout its lifecycle. 16. Performs other duties assigned by Employer from time to time that are commensurate with professional services normally and customarily performed by a physician.
*Required Education & Training: * 1. Current unencumbered State of Tennessee Family Nurse Practitioner License. 2. Current and unrestricted DEA license.
*The ideal candidate will be/have: * * Comfortable with patients of all ages * Proficient with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to joint injections, minor dermatologic procedures, basic gynecologic care. * Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems. * Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously. * Ability to work in fast-paced environment. * Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
