Community Groups, Volunteer Ministries, Partner Ministries, Missions Department and more.

Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree or more in related field
- At least 3-5 years of proven ministry experience leading adult volunteers or staff
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee Community Groups (groups of 12-18 adults that are led by 2-4 group leaders)
- Provide strategic oversight to what is already a strong ministry at Transform (210 adults are in groups)
- Meet with group leaders one-on-one 2x’s a year to provide vision, strategy and feedback▪
- Provide wisdom to them as they encounter difficult situations or crisis
- Provide care and counsel to individuals in our church in difficult situations beyond the regular care of a community group
- Work on establishing new groups every semester so there are always onboarding options
- Provide large-group training for all community group leaders and hosts2x’s a year
- Visit each of the community groups once per year and provide feedback to the leaders on how they can improve
- Work with host homes to provide childcare for their homes and reimburse from Transform as needed
- Communicate weekly with all of the group leaders and include the discussion questions written by the Lead Pastor
Oversee Transform School (for 8 weeks every summer we offer sequential Bible classeswhile community groups are off)
- Provide strategic oversight to Transform School, the class leaders and the classes offered.
- Meet with our teachers 2x’s a year to plan out classes and syllabuses for the next summer
- Teach either an intro level or advanced class inside of Transform school
- Organize childcare and coordinate on building usage
- Work on advertising, branding ad promoting transform school
Oversee Volunteer Ministries (includes: greeters, café and safety)
- Provide strategic oversight to all of our team leaders for each of the above teams
- Meet with our ministry leaders, as a group, once a year to provide vision, strategy and feedback
- Meet with each of our team leaders, one-on-one, 2x’s a year
- Organize our bi-annual volunteer pushes to give teams healthy numbers and prevent burnout
Oversee Ministry Partnerships (includes a local pregnancy center, MN Adult and Teen Challenge and Compassion International)
- Provide strategic oversight to our involvement with partner ministries including special Sundays and volunteer opportunities
- Act as the liaison between the needs of the ministry and what Transform can do to help
- Oversee our annual financial commitments to the partner ministries
Oversee Domestic and International Missions (includes a comprehensive vision for missions at Transform for children through adults)
- Work with our Kids Director and Youth Pastors to help develop a strategy for missions that fits with the greater church
- Work with Compassion International to organize and lead trips to Ecuador to support our sponsor kids and future church plants
- Be the relational contact and encourager to other mission partnerships already established through Transform
Additional (Pastoral responsibilities will include perioding preaching, counseling, giving announcements and performing weddings and funerals)
