Lexington Center for Recovery is seeking a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) for our Rockland County Clinic. This position provide support services for persons who are struggling with mental illness and substance abuse. The Recovery Peer Advocate will work with clients in the community and in the clinic to provide care coordination and transportation services, work individually with clients to develop a recovery plan, provide recovery support and to run peer support groups. Experience working with mental health and/or substance abuse persons, as well as lived experience is required. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and successfully meet all OASAS requirements regarding a background check clearance.
