Tax Professional
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Our Tax Professionals are responsible for varying degrees of tax preparation, research and planning based on their specific level of experience and qualifications. More experienced candidates may also provide work direction and technical guidance to less experienced staff. This role also involves direct client contact as needed to fulfill tax compliance requirements and resolve minor tax matters.
Essential Functions

- Prepares complex tax returns and tax research.
- Reviews tax work of less experienced staff.
- Trains, mentors and provides work direction to staff.
- Reviews tax information supplied by client; may meet with or call client with questions.
- Recognizes, anticipates and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations.
- Markets firm services to existing and prospective clients.
- Meets productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours).
Competencies
- 3+ years of Public Accounting experience.
- CPA credentials required.
- Accounting degree
- Technical Capacity.
- Communication Proficiency.
Work Environment
Our Tax Professional position currently requires in-office performance of the job, with the potential of Hybrid flexibility.
This job operates in a clerical office setting, and the work product is paperless. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
