Job Summary: Dazbog Coffee Co Area Manager
Our Store Managers and Team Members bring Richness to each Dazbog Store by creating a culture of Legendary Customer Service, Community and High Quality Products. The Area Manager will be responsible for the operations of the stores, developing their staff, profitability and results, and creating the amazing culture Dazbog customers love.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for operation of company and franchise operated DAZBOG Stores
- Reports to the Director of Retail and Franchise Stores
- Leads the Store Manager and Teams to accomplish The Dazbog Mission
- Provides Legendary Customer Service to all customers and teaches those skills to the store teams by understanding and regularly exceeding customer needs
- Performs and delegates tasks to accomplish store daily routines
- Trains and enforces Cash Handling Procedures and Policies
- Facilitates store hiring and training needs
- Creates environment for stores to meet and exceed store goals by exciting and leading the store teams
- Responsible for store cleanliness and equipment maintenance of stores
- Adheres to and enforces all Dazbog policies and procedures
- Ensures all customers consistently receive high-quality products by adhering to all beverage recipes and food safety policies
- Responsible for weekly schedules
- Responsible for inventory management, including but not limited to placing orders, tracking waste and performing store counts
- Responsible for labor and sales tracking
- Responsible for maintaining our partnership and excellent reputation with businesses we partner with
- Responsible Hospitality Reports at all stores
- Responsible for hands on franchise training during store openings
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of customer experience in a retail or restaurant environment
- A minimum of 3 years of employee management experience in a high-volume food service environment
- A minimum of 3 years of employee training experience
- A minimum of 3 years of inventory management experience
- A minimum of 3 years of P&L (COGs) management
- Must be able to adhere to all Dazbog policies and procedures, including but not limited to cash handling, safety and security, beverage recipes and safe food handling
- Must be able to direct the store team effectively and positively to achieve store goals
- Must be able to coach store managers and team members and teach them excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Must be professional in both demeanor and appearance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a flexible availability (including weekends and very early mornings)
- Must have a ‘Hands On’ mentality
- Must be willing to work quickly and efficiently with excellent time management
- Must be goal driven
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- A minimum of 3 years of coffee related experience is preferred
- Must meet badging requirements with our partners that include shot records, covid vaccination and 10 year FBI background check
