Job Description
PM GRAND #915 DBA BURGER CARTE is looking for a Store Manager and Assistant Manager to oversee all culinary functions of the restaurant. The Food Manager will be responsible for the management of all culinary operations, ensuring that food quality, quantity, and time standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and will be able to lead team members to exceed customer expectations and create a memorable experience for both guests and team members.
Essential Functions:
- Manage kitchen staff and assist in training.
- Coordinate food orders with kitchen staff.
- Maintain inventory of food items, food cartons, utensils and equipment.
- Prepare food items for service according to recipes, specifications and presentation specifications.
- Ensure that all food items are stored properly.
- Ensure that all food carts are cleaned properly.
- Perform daily cleaning of kitchen using established cleaning schedule according to department policies and procedures.
- Cleaning of prep area, break room, and cafeteria using established cleaning procedures.
- Cleaning of cafeteria using established cleaning procedures.
- Cleaning of prep area using established cleaning procedures.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures when handling or storing chemicals or products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in a related role with equivalent education and experience.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays (must be able to work from morning until night) with occasional overtime.
- Must be able to lead a team of associates in providing outstanding dining experience to our guests.
- Must be highly motivated and capable of delegating responsibilities among multiple departments.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Must have excellent leadership skills – the ability to motivate a team toward success with confidence and creativity.
