Position Overview:
As the General Manager of Simply Unwine, you will play a pivotal role in leading our team, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in service, fostering a positive work environment, and driving the success of our startup wine bar.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and motivate a talented team of bartenders, servers, and support staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback to the team.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability.
3. Customer Experience:
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for all customers.
- Address customer feedback and implement improvements.
4. Wine Selection and Menu Curation:
- Collaborate with suppliers and wine experts to curate a diverse and exciting wine list.
- Work with the culinary team to develop a menu that complements our wine selection.
5. Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Organize wine tastings, events, and promotions to drive traffic.
6. Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and revenue forecasts.
- Monitor and control expenses to achieve financial targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or wine industry.
- Strong knowledge of wine and wine service.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $62,149.00 - $65,475.00 per year
