RN - Registered Nurse
Duties and responsibilities
- Direct care of Detox and Residential level of care clients withdrawing from Alcohol, Benzodiazepines, Opiates, Methamphetamines, and other substances.
- Conduct a physical assessment of the client and provide clinician ordered treatments, education and frequent communication with Center’s therapists, nurses and other providers.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for clients served. Collaborate with all members of the Center’s team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the client’s and their families.
- Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication review
- Administer medication as prescribed by the client’s physician
- Dress or undress open wounds and assess progress of healing
- Educate clients and families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
- Coordinate with Therapists, After-Care Coordinators, and anyone else involved in the patient's care plan
- Make recommendations for tools, resources or devices that might improve the client’s quality of life
- Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
