Salary: $54,000 – 66,500 annually + Full-Time Benefits

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensures efficient and timely accessioning of all samples

Manages the Accessioning Department of the laboratory

Validates, reviews, and updates laboratory SOPs to ensure regulatory compliance

Helps to hire new laboratory talent
-
Trains laboratory personnel to ensure understanding and adherence to SOPs
- Other duties, as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Advanced knowledge of forensic toxicology services
-
Advanced ability to understand certification requirements for CLIA and CAP
-
Advanced understanding of LIS functioning
-
Ability to teach and train others
-
Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
-
Ability to talk/present in front of medium to large audiences

Skill in the use of computers, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
One year of lead or supervisory experience required
-
Experience in the forensic toxicology field, especially with the analysis of biological material for drugs of abuse.

Experience working in a laboratory setting.
