As the Program Manager, you will help lead the project management and Account Management teams with the end-to-end delivery of projects and manage major accounts for Retail Technology Group. You will ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery while overseeing the day-to-day work activities of your assigned projects/accounts, including the people, processes, systems, and measures. The Program Manager will ensure project management services are delivered to customers in a consistent, high-quality, and professional manner. The Program Manager will participate in the launch of customer-facing projects and onboarding of new projects/accounts as well as contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
Essential Job Duties
- Manage project teams that are high-profile or have a significant impact on revenue.
- Monitor the workloads of your assigned project/account teams and offer coaching on how to properly prioritize work.
- Monitoring capacity needs and making recommendations for staffing needs as needed.
- Build and manage relationships with Clients, Technicians, Project Managers, and Account Managers as well as serving as an escalation point for any issues encountered with a project/account.
- Responsible for mentoring and training Project Managers, Account Managers, Operations Support Coordinators, and Junior Program Managers
- Work with Sales, Account Managers, (and Project Manager, when applicable) to define project scope and pricing.
- Maintain direct and open interaction with leadership to make sure all resources needed for the project/account are available.
- Ensure documentation is kept up to date (process, functional, technical), and continually look for departmental improvements.
- Ensuring projects/accounts remain profitable by effectively using both internal and external resources.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, Account Manager, or Account Management (or related experience) is strongly preferred.
- Previous people management experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Exhibit good motivational skills to bring out the best in team members.
- Good crisis management skills to handle pressure from project challenges.
- Good temperament for dealing with team members shortcomings.
- Solid working knowledge of project management tools required.

Education and Experience
- BS degree in Business and/or Computer Science or a related field of study or equivalent education and'or experience is preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience with Telecom and/or Low Voltage Data cabling experience is strongly preferred.
Working Conditions
- Office/Work-from-home hybrid environment (subject to change).
- May require short periods in a warehouse or construction site environment.
- May require lifting 10-30 lbs.
- Travel 10 – 20%
Physical Demands
Minimal to light physical effort is generally required to perform duties in an office environment. This position may require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This position requires occasional evening meetings, as requested.
