Onboarding and Training to be held in Woburn, MA
Position Summary
The Licensed Electrical Journeyman/Journeywoman will perform a full range of duties in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring and equipment.
This position is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus.
Position Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate well with clients and internal subordinates, peers, and management.
- Willingness to comply with all company safety guidelines, OSHA regulations and local codes.
- Lead by example in a team atmosphere and mentor team members.
- Diagnose electrical problems and review blueprints as needed.
- Performs rough and finished electrical installation, tests, and maintenance on a variety of wiring and other types of electrical equipment.
Position Requirements
- Licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician with experience in a construction environment.
- Reliable and can be counted on to work productively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and submittals, and comply with all current codes in the installation of electrical systems (including conduits, MC, RC, low voltage cables, electrical panels and switchboards, lighting, intercom, phone and data systems).
- Possess and know how to use all small tools as described in the Company’s handbook.
General Requirements
- Must have a Journeyman's License
- Reliable and committed to working at least 40 hours per week.
- OSHA 10/30 card
- Exhibit professional appearance and conduct while performing assigned duties.
- Positive attitude and motivated to work in a team environment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening- including driving record, background check, and drug test.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to handle a workload of up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to work in all elements such as cold, rain, snow, heat, etc.
- Continuous walking, standing, climbing, balancing, crouching, pulling, reaching and stooping is required.
- Must be able to perform work at various heights and be comfortable working from ladders, lifts, scaffolds, etc.

Salary: $35 - $45 per hour
