The position is part of the North America Project Execution Team.
We are looking for a SCADA Project Engineer, a talented and proactive person who will join our team as a Project Team Member.
This position can be based out of any of our DNV offices, preferably in Austin, TX.
What You ll Do
- Analysis of photovoltaic and wind projects to monitor all the variables needed
- Generating single-line diagrams of the cabinets, including the hardware for the SCADA solution to be deployed, given the project descriptions and Project Manager Indications
- Supporting and helping the team to reach the schedules for deliveries
- Supporting the commissioning of the SCADA system
- Configuration of the software to get the best value of the data
- Assistance with general group activities
- Occasional travel of a short-term nature
- Technical report writing, critical reviewing, and professional presentation to clients

What is Required
- Bachelor s Degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics field
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a pressurized Project environment to deliver high-quality work
- Demonstrable ability to work on projects and achieve results on time
- Good communication skills, including the ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation, including a willingness to develop and enjoy taking on challenges and responsibilities

What is Preferred
- Recent graduates with knowledge/experience in solar
- Experience within the renewable energy industry or renewable energy taught course modules, including knowledge of how wind and photovoltaic plants work
- Analyzing and interpreting the layout of renewable energy plants
- Knowledge of creating single-line diagrams (AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of Linux and networking
- Knowledge of Industrial Protocols
- Knowledge of Renewable Business
