This position is in our Family Medicine Center. As an integral part of the patient care team the Medical Assistant prepares for each of the patient visits by reviewing the chart and assessing for the need of preventative health services as well as chronic medical conditions. You will perform non invasive, routine, clinical support under the supervision of our nurses and providers. You will track lab and other diagnostic testing results ensuring that patients are informed of their results in a timely manner. You are the face of your care team and by treating our patients with warmth and excellent customer service you will embody the quality relationship we want to establish with each and every patient.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED;
Previous medical office experience preferred but not required
Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required. Additional pay for Certification
