VCA Parkway Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (or NC RVT eligible) to join our team as Lead RVT!

VCA Parkway is a 2.5-doctor canine and feline practice located in Cary, NC. We provide Primary Care, Surgery, Dentistry and more, utilizing state of the art equipment to diagnose and treat our patients. Our team takes the time to connect with our clients when determining the best care for their pets.
We are open weekdays 7:30am - 5:30pm, Saturdays 8am-1pm, closed on Sundays.

About the Role
As Lead RVT, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients, clients and team. Strong leadership and technical skills including anesthesia, dentistry and surgical assisting required. Duties will include:
- Compassionate patient care
- Client education and care
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Radiology and diagnostics
- Lab sample collection and processing
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Dentistry
- Medication preparation and administration
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Medical recordkeeping
- Leading and teaching the patient care team
