This position is instrumental in providing support for both the HSS team as well as operations. Many tasks within this role are essential to keeping critical records for both regulatory compliance and the company’s metrics and benchmarks. This position will also be a resource to offer guidance to employees and the team in managing incidents or routine inspections throughout the plant. This position also plays an integral role in serving as a backup for environmental data collection and will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting site safety statistics. This role is required to support the goals, objectives, and vision of the Health and Safety Department.
Essential Job Functions: Include but are not limited to the following:

· Provide timely, accurate support for both the Safety Team as well as operations team. Primary role is supporting filed safety study work and assisting in completion of corrective actions to ensure OSHA compliance.
· Hearing Conservation, safety statistics, and metrics.
· Incident Management and safety system programs.
· Recordkeeping.
· Provide sound advice and regulatory compliance with site.
· Documentation on employee training, safe work permits, and recertifications.
· HS&S Data to include man-hours, recordable, LTI’s, departmental HS&S KPI’s, near misses, and safety-related meetings.
· Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
· Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or Certified Safety Professional preferred.
· Minimum of a 2-year experience to the top 9 high hazards, safety management tools providing general administrative support and HS&S expertise.
