Human Resources Manager
Established in 1920, Brook Hollow Golf Club enjoys a strong reputation as one of Dallas’ most historic and exclusive private clubs. World-class facilities including a fully renovated golf course that was completed in 2020, a sports complex for tennis, pickleball, wellness and swimming, and a famed ballroom in which are presented in some of Dallas’ most memorable and fashionable social events. We are a high-end service golf operation.
We are seeking an HR Manager to join our team who will multitask through actively participating in the recruiting process, employee turnover and retention, addressing employee matters and organizing work activities to make our club a sought-after employment destination for top talent. This position will play an active role in formulating methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices, will lead employee on-boarding and represent Brook Hollow in its cultural journey.
Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

Maintains working knowledge of club policies and guidelines as outlined in Brook Hollow Golf Club’s Employee Handbook. Ensures Handbook is kept current regarding club policies and applicable laws and governmental regulations. Continually reviews and assists in updating the employee handbook and policies as necessary.

Manages the club’s personnel program; assists in the development/implementation of applicable policies and procedures; processes various labor staffing reports; coordinates software applications to generate required information.

Serves as primary resource to employees and managers for all issues regarding benefits and payroll related issues.

Serves as the liaison between the Brook Hollow Employee Scholarship Program and the Dallas Foundation.

Develops/places recruitment ads and strategies; screens applicants and makes hiring recommendations and then onboards the applicants.

Leads supervisory and management training specific to HR-related topics

Assists in the management of the club’s progressive discipline program

Keeps abreast with labor laws and regulations relating to employees and payroll; assures compliance with these laws and regulations

Provides general club orientation for new employees; assists in the development/implementation of department orientation and training programs as appropriate and tracks the employees progress in completing their training modules and reporting to the respective managers.

Process payroll bi-weekly and maintain wage records within our payroll software (Paycom).

Responsible for the administration of employee benefit programs, including Health, Disability, FMLA and Workers Comp and Unemployment.
