POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Chief Financial Officer(CFO) is a senior management role within the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO. The CFO oversees financial operations, accounting, and strategy development to support organizational growth, stability, and community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial operations and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with CEO and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) on financial best practices and strategic planning.
- Develop and monitor long-range financial plans and budgets.
- Manage financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Supervise Finance Director and team, overseeing budgeting, audits, and financial statements.
- Coordinate with HR Director on compensation standards and payroll.
- Handle risk management and banking relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10-15 years of finance/accounting management experience, preferably in nonprofit sector.
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and fund accounting.
- Experience with grants management and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Drive products.
- Valid CA Driver’s license; auto insurance required.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
