THE JOB:
As a Race and Sports Ticket Writer, you will be responsible for assisting guests with placing wagers on racing and sporting events from around the globe. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.
STARTING RATE:$16.50/hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Skillfully write, verify, and process payments for race and sports wagers, ensuring every transaction aligns with our top-notch policies and regulations.
- Maintain a well-balanced cash bank throughout your shift. Handle payments with precision, making accurate change when needed. Reconcile your bank at the end of each shift, adhering to our meticulous cash-handling procedures.
- Keep your workstation stocked with all necessary supplies. Ensure your area is always neat, clean, and ready for action.
- Quickly and accurately pay out winning tickets. Verify tickets and payoffs with attention to detail.
- Clearly explain wagering rules, betting lines, and odds to guests. Safeguard customer rewards and ensure adherence to credit lines.
- Alert management to any guest issues or concerns that arise. Report any suspicious activity to maintain a safe and secure environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Must at least be 18 years old.
- Not a requirement, but a passion for sports would definitely add to the excitement!
THE SCHEDULE:
- Hours of operation are from 9 AM to 12 AM, seven days a week. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work within these hours, including weekends and holidays.
