About the role

As a Sales Specialist, you will sell Allsup’s Healthcare Insurance Services products. You will gain a base knowledge of Medicare, Marketplace and Medicaid. Your focus will be on creating a positive, lasting impression through excellent customer service, education, sales and relationship building techniques.
What you'll do

Allsup partners with companies to help their employees view their options as it relates to health coverage. The Sales Specialist will be talking with customers, educating them on Allsup services related to Medicare, Marketplace and Medicaid. You will balance your work day between servicing customers on inbound calls and managing your task list, while making outbound calls. This position offers a base pay plus rewards you for selling someone our services. Our average salary after commission is $55,000.
Qualifications

1-2 years of customer and/or sales experience or two years of post-secondary education or higher

Health insurance knowledge a plus

Obtain health insurance license upon hire

Ability to close leads over the phone

Willingness to learn and be coached to sell

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written professional communication skills and have a great attention to detail
