Stonwerk Inc., is looking to add motivated individuals to our team! Our work is strictly large custom homes around Lake Minnetonka and the surrounding lakes in the west metro. No project is the same... each is its own masterpiece of superb quality; built to last! Foreman Job responsibilities:
1. First priority of Stonwerk foreman is to build a strong team... You must be willing and have experience with accepting responsibility for the actions of your crew.
2. Set up jobsites & scaffolding safely & according to plan specifications, lay stone/brick according to plan specifications and Stonwerk's quality standards- lead team in this process.
3. Make sure jobsite is safe and team has all needed safety gear.
4. Operate equipment (skid steer, forklift, power saw, basic hand tools, etc).
5. Communication: Daily with operations manager, weekly with safety talks with team, monthly with foreman meetings at office.
6. Help masons & laborers if needed to keep jobs running smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining a safe and clean work site.
7. Must be willing to quickly follow direction from operations manager and site supervisor at all times.
8. Will drive company vehicle and make sure all required materials and tools are available for team, working closely with operations manager to assure a seamless workday.
Job requirements:
Must have 10+ years of masonry experience and 5+ years masonry foreman experience. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Must be able to work safely & independently, have a positive attitude, show a willingness to learn, show up on time, be a team player. Must attend safety meetings and practice all Stonwerk safety protocols. Must have current drivers license and a clean driving record in order to drive company vehicle. Must be able to lift 80 lbs & easily move up and down scaffolding set ups that can be 3 stories high. Must be willing and able to work on rooftops.
Work experience:
Prior experience required for this foreman position. We do train our foreman further through our in house T.E.A.M. training program.
Most projects we work on are located in and around the Minneapolis/St Paul metro area, specifically the west metro.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
