**Dental Receptionist: "Case Management/Financial Coordinator"**

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a part-time front desk specialist to join our team starting in July, 2024 (2-3 days per week, must be able to work Wednesdays and Fridays). The role involves managing front desk operations, patient interactions, appointment scheduling, and supporting the overall efficiency of the practice.
HOURS: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
*Duties*
- Welcome and check-in patients with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answers the phone
- Schedules appointments & fills the doctors schedules
-Patient check-in and check-out
- Collection of patient co-pays
- Posts completed treatment
- Submits, processes, and follows up on insurance claims
- Contacts referring dentists offices to collect necessary information and documents prior to a patient's appointment
- Confirms upcoming appointments
- Insurance verification and eligibility
- Provides supports to the Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist
*Requirements*
- Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Reliable transportation for punctual attendance
- Excellent verbal communication abilities
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Successful completion of background check
*Preferred Skills (Not Required)*
- BLS/CPR certification
- Prior experience in dental or medical administrative roles
- Familiarity with dental procedures and EMR systems

Pay rate is commensurate with experience level. Long-term growth opportunities available based on performance. Additional workdays may be offered as the practice expands.
