**Join Our Team: Office Assistant at Andersons Septic Service**
Andersons Septic is a family-owned business with a commitment to providing top-notch septic service to our community. Located in Wilton, CT. We are currently seeking a dedicated Office Assistant who is eager to contribute to our team and grow with us.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Answer phone calls efficiently
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette
- Accurately record messages from customers to relay to field operator accordingly
- Scheduling appointments via our septic software, as well as creating and sending invoices
- Manage daily administrative tasks with proficiency in Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Microsoft Word
- Utilize QuickBooks for various billing duties including creating and sending invoices
- Handle customer inquiries with patience and professionalism
- Drafting and replying to emails professionally
- Process payments by running credit cards and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Scan documents and organize digital and physical files with attention to detail.
- Request septic plans from surrounding health departments
**Qualifications:**
- MUST be reliable
- Experience with QuickBooks and familiarity with billing principles a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to septic software application
- Excellent typing speed and ability
- Strong communication and proofreading skills and a knack for customer service
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of septic/excavation field is a PLUS but not required - we can teach you what you need to know
This position will be part-time support and backup to our office manager. Approximately 16-24 hours per week with some additional hours as needed.

Pay- Starting at $20/hour but negotiable based on experience.

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
