The senior laboratory technician will support the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program at the corporate headquarters in Pocasset, MA. Will report to the Laboratory Manager and support several departments within the organization including Supply Chain, Operations, and QA/QC.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the GC-FID with headspace, evaluate and report results
- Manage daily laboratory workflow and the supervision and training of laboratory assistants and/or technicians
- Support the QA/QC laboratory with daily workload as needed
- Review and approve Certificate of Analysis (COA) to support the order fulfillment process
- Determine and communicate blending requirements to manufacturing locations
- Lead new supplier test requests including the evaluation, reporting, and recommendations of findings
- Adhere to quality systems procedures including data entry, equipment calibration, proper documentation of activities, etc.
